Message from Monkton Gardening Club:-
As the problems with the church floor haven’t been resolved we have decided to hold our next meeting in Monkton Village Hall ( opposite the school).
Monday 14 th March at the earlier time of 1 pm.
It’s hope the earlier time will attract parents of schoolchildren.
We have a guest speaker Nicola Dyas from Sevenscore Farm who will talk to us about her work on the farm and growing asparagus
We also have a raffle and teas and coffee are available. As the hire of the village hall costs a little more than the Church we will charge 50p for teas and coffees but will keep the subs to £2 per meeting.
Please bring your friends we dont have an official membership, come when you can and you don’t have to live in Monkton – all welcome.
If you have any suggestions for future meetings please message me and we will discuss them at the next meeting.
We will continue to meet on the second Monday in each month and Aprils meeting will have an Easter theme. Our speaker will be Art from the Garden Gate Project in Margate.
