Public Notice
On Sunday 14 November 2021 from 10:30hrs to 12:30hrs all roads around Birchington Square will be closed to traffic. The annual Birchington Remembrance Parade and Service will be taking place. A road closure notice will be in force. Specific roads are Station Road from Alpha Road junction up to the Square, Albion Road at Station Road Junction, A28 Canterbury Road from Kent Gardens to Yew Tree Gardens. Park Lane from Anvil Close to A28 Canterbury Rd. Please bear this in mind when travelling on that Sunday morning and avoid the area if at all possible.
It will still be possible to travel from Canterbury direction down Kent Gardens and through to Alpha Road, up Epple Road to join the A28 Canterbury Road, past the blocked area, in both directions. Buses will be re-routed too.
