Temporary Road Closure – Albion Road, Birchington – 20-24 September 2021
It will be necessary to close part of Albion Road, Birchington, currently planned from Monday 20 September 2021 for up to 5 days.
Albion Road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 17, with no through access between the junctions with Station Road and Crescent Road.
The alternative route for through traffic is via Station Road and Alpha Road.
The closure is to enable UK Power Networks to carry out works to provide a new electricity supply.
Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to re-open the road outside the working hours.
The planned dates and duration may change for various reasons including the current coronavirus situation and adverse weather conditions, with any changes signposted on site and notified locally.
