Just a reminder of tonight’s Jubilee Volunteer meeting at Church House, Kent Gardens 6:30pm.
Birchington Parish Council are looking forward to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and have several exciting activities planned; including, on Thursday 2nd June a Senior Afternoon Tea and Beacon lighting, on Friday 3rd an Evening Family Barbeque and on Sunday 5th a Children’s Street Party.
In order to realise our plans we need as many ‘hands on deck’ as possible – We would very much appreciate help before and on the days with general administration, but primarily on the various days with catering, stewarding/marshalling, setting up and taking down, decorations etc.
To discuss how we can achieve this, we are hosting a ‘Platinum Jubilee Meeting’ at Church House on Tuesday 8th February at 6.30pm. If you would be interested in being involved, please come along and find out more about how we can make this a fabulous few days of celebration.
Please let Denise Johnson, Parish Clerk (clerk@birchington-pc.gov.uk) know if you are able to attend, (if you haven’t already done so), thank you.
Refreshments, teas /coffees will be provided.
