Temporary Road Closure – Park Road & Shottendane Road, Birchington
It will be necessary to close part of Park Road, Birchington from 10th January 2022 with estimated completion by 20th February 2022.
It will be necessary to close part of Shottendane Road, Birchington from 19th September 2022 with estimated completion by 30th October 2022.
Park Road will be closed between Shottendane Road and Somali Farm Cottages.
Shottendane Road will be closed between Park Road and Birchington Vale Holiday Park.
The alternative route for Park Road is via Park Road, Comford Road, Farrar Road, Stone Barn Avenue, Park Lane, B2050 Manston Road, Shottendane Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for Shottendane Road is via B2050 Manston Road/Park Lane, A28 Canterbury Road, B2052 George V Avenue/Hartsdown Road, Shottendane Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new foul sewer is undertaken by Southern Water.
