Public Notice – Manor Rd St Nicholas at Wade
Temporary Road Closure – Manor Road, St Nicholas at Wade, Thanet – 3-5 February 2021
It will be necessary to close part of Manor Road, St Nicholas at Wade, near Birchington, currently planned from Wednesday 3 February 2021 with estimated completion by 5 February 2021.
Manor Road will be closed in the general vicinity of the property ‘Detteken’, with no through access between the junctions with Sandalwood Drive and Manor Lea Road.
The alternative route for through traffic is via A28 Canterbury Road and The Length.
Local access to the remainder of Manor Road continues from either direction.
The closure is to enable works to provide a new water supply to be carried out by Clancy Docwra, working with Southern Water.
Due to the nature of these works, it will not be possible to re-open the road outside the working hours.
The timing and duration of these works may be affected by various factors including the current coronavirus situation and weather conditions.
